The Sw Tanaka T22 HD is available now, and is the next generation in sun-thirsty technology. We've covered all your favorite topics related to this new innovation, including its cutting-edge features and technologies, how it compares to previous models, the steps you can take to get a spot in line for preordering online - so without wasting any time let's jump right in. After some research on this year’s new arrivals at SXSW it became apparent that there’s a lot more to the best of this year than just new music from independent artists. What really caught our attention was the unveiling of the Sw Tanaka T22 HD, a sunglasses model that will be used by NASA to shield their eyes from the sun in space. Part of the NASA SUNSAT project, this model is being developed by Cassini Equatorial Group with one primary goal in mind - to replace NASA’s current equipment with sunglasses that are capable of protecting its astronauts’ eyes from harmful radiation. As you can imagine, this isn’t just any pair of sunglasses - it has to be up to the task and measure up to what NASA requires. And so far, so good. NASA has worked closely with Cassini Equatorial Group to develop the most powerful sun-mirroring glasses on the market right now. The T22 HD features a special version of traditional mirror shades with two completely polarized lenses, each made of 92 percent reflective coated material, making it capable of reflecting 99 percent of sunlight, all captured in tensile steel frames. NASA is ready to use this pair during its upcoming Titan mission, but it’s not just for that - this model will be used by astronauts who are looking to explore space. The collapsible design makes it easier to pack them into tight spaces on short missions and serves as an overall lightweight option for extended missions. The T22 HD is equipped with a fashion-forward yet functional design, incorporating a history of Sw Tanaka's fashionable sunglasses up to now. There are three additional functionality options. The first is the ability to adjust the curvature of the lens using a sliding switch, allowing you to match your comfort as you wear them. The second is a built-in valve that allows for easier adjustment on those hot days on those cooler days, which will come in handy as more and more spacecraft reach deep space destinations. The third option allows you to protect your eyes from UV rays with an incorporated UV filter. NASA is looking to integrate the T22 HD into new spacecraft designs as well - for example, on the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle which will be used by the new manned space program. With the winner of this year’s SXSW competition, Sw Tanaka T22 HD, an additional $100 voucher will be offered to our customers that chooses to buy it. And of course, this space-ready pair of sun shades also comes with all the standard functions you'd expect out of a Sw Tanaka model; protective lenses; lenses with light blocking technology; UV protection; high-quality sunglass frames made of high-quality resin; and crystal clear lenses able to reduce sun glare for better vision at all times. cfa1e77820
